Re: Radio Wiring 200 1990

Hello,

In my experience the volvo radio wiring is a fairly straight foward deal.

As most radios are. You need ground and two hot wire. And of course the speaker wires.

One of the hot wires is only hot when the ignition is on, the other(for your presets)is always hot. Use your volt/ohm meter to determine which is which. For the speaker wires, use a 9v battery, placing one wire to + the other to -, when its right you will see the speaker cone move foward, that identifies the positive and negative side of the speakers. This is what works for me.

Hope this helps.
