B23/B230 intake manifold conversion 200 82

I am in the process of doing the B23/B230 intake manifold conversion on my 82 240ti. I know that you need to use the throttle cable off of the B23 car, but do you also need to use the transmission kick down cable off a B23/B230 car also. I'm also going to be using the B21 throttle body and since you have to use the linkage off the B23 throttle body, how can you use the tps switch from the B21 manifold with the B23 linkage.

any info would be greatly appreciated
