fuel pump problems, PLEASE HELP! 200 76

My fuel pump died last night after work, at least thats what i think it was.I started my car to let it warm up while i went to get out of my work clothes and when i came back it wasen't running but the ingnition was still on. i hooked a jump box to the battery, no start, then i put gas in, no start, then a coworker sprayed brake parts cleaner in the middle hole on the fuel injection, (the hose that comes of the flame trap) and it would start, but as soon as he would stop spraying that stuff my car would sputter and die. plus the fuel pump was makine a LOUD noise. So my question to you guys is, is it my fuel pump, and if so how much fun is it going to be to replace it. Is it along the lines of replacing, say a a carrier bearing, or more like replaceing a blower motor. I work at a jeep dealership so i have access to lifts, heavy equipment and knowledeable coworkers. so your help would be great

Thanks
