Re: rt of steering column dash facia plate 700 '89

Problem solved! Decided to go to bigger tools and more pressure removing face plate. Problem spring I couldn't disengage in middle of face plate attaches to a tab on the back of the plate with the other end forming a huge "open" J shape applying pressure against the back (inside) of the dash. J turns toward the steering column behind the dash and is made of heavy guage spring steel.
