Another thing, may be hard to check, but anyway - you might have a pretty bad vacuum leak somewhere that seals up as the car warms. A bad intake manifold gasket or really bad injector seals might cause something like that - a large gap at cold start that seals as the metal/rubber/etc warms and expands.
