Intermittent wipers 120-130 1966

In the past couple years my 122 wagon's wipers have quit at

inopportune times, only to resume functioning shortly thereafter.

Seems worst on cold, wet foggy nights with heavy rain.

Seems OK at the fuse box and the wires on the back of the switch

appear to be OK. Before I incapacitate myself for several days

working under the dash, have any of you guys experienced and fixed

this problem in your cars? What did you find?

I'd also like to get a spare wiper motor/linkage assembly, since

mine has shown signs of overheating (probably gummy lube) if left

on for an hour or so. If you have one spare, I'd like to negotiate

with you.

Now that it is acting more like winter here in OkieLand, gas prices

dropped again - it is 0.919/gallon now. Time to fill up!
