If I won the lottery 140-160 1972

Someone posted a series of questions about what we would do if we won the lottery. Here's my pick:

Ferarri V-8 drivetrain in my 72 Volvo.

(One can do "anything" with money, right?)

Short of that I'd just try to make the car perfect. Complete tear-down and rebuild. Probably sandblast the frame rails and the complete underside of the car and have it redone in the yellow bed-liner stuff (painting the gas tank Volvo red of course). IPD lowering springs and anti sway bars front and rear. Vented disks. New wheels. Recaro leather seats (and have the rear seat recovered in leather). Replace the interior carpeting with black (rather than the brown that is current). Bore, balance and blueprint the engine (keeping the D-jet). IPD headers and new exhaust. Shave the door handles, locks and trunk lock. New fog and driving lamp set up. New 10-disk CD changer and stereo set-up so I can blast Verdi's Requiem while smoking BMW's.

Then I'd do the same with an Jaguar XKE Coupe, an early 1800 and a Triumph TR-3.

Then just buy a Ferarri.

Mike.
