What i find is unless you use the volvo boxed rear pads and supplied-together shims,cost of which is comparable to getting shims+non volvo boxed pads separately,the noise will go away with grease but will return after a while.

when spring comes,the supposedly oem pads will come out and volvo pads and shims will go in for me.
