Raising headrests 200 1990

I am a tall fellow, and I think my headrest may perform poorly if I am rear-ended. The top of the rest hits about at the protrusion at the base of my skull. Any way, or need, to get/make an adjustable headrest? What about for my '83?

Also, I installed a cargo barrier in the back of the '83 wagon. (A *must* for safety unless you are very careful about strapping down -- imagine even a can of soup ricocheting around the cabin in a wreck. Head trauma city.)

The little head pads that are on it are for comfort only. Any way to put in real head rests?

(BTW, the seats in this 20-yr-old brick are vinal but *immaculate*. Perfect condition. Pukey brown, but hey, whatever. The go nicely with the dead tan paint. I suspect the former owner used good seat covers from day one, as I do now.)
