AW 70 rebuilding 200 85

I've got a couple of AW 70/71 transmissions, and am thinking of trying a rebuild myself. Anyone know a good source of manuals, tools and parts? Anyone try a DIY rebuild? I read one thread some time ago where a Brickboard guy bought some parts from an Auto Trans Supply house, and the tech said it was a good candidate for DIYers.
