suspension replacement 900 1992

It's nearing the time that I replace the worn suspension on my 965 wagon, and I was wondering if anyone has used and had good luck with after market parts (shocks and struts), or am I better off giving my money to the local dealership parts department. I plan to do the replacement myself as I have access to a lift and spring compressor. I understand that the rear shocks have an electronically controlled load stabilizer, and wonder how hard it is too actually make this repair myself. Also how much money am I looking at spending to replace all four shocks/struts.
