Under hood light, hot wire location? 700 1991

I have no idea why, but my '91 780 had no under hood light when I bought it. I got one used, but now that I've looked to hook it up, I can't find where the power source is. The back of the hood light has a single plug connector, and one of the mounting screws presumably serves as the ground. Any idea where on the firewall/wiring harness the hot wire comes from? I'm guessing I just thread it under the insulating material and pop it into the back of the light. After a reasonably close visual inspection, I didn't find any loose wires lurking around the engine compartment in that immediate area.
