Headlight Wiring 700 1990

I replaced the passenger side headlight(bulb) on my 1990 740 and apparently

did not properly secure the bulb in the fixture.

The bulb worked its way loose, melted the plastic in the back of the

headlight, and somehow worked its way into the fan. The fan tore the

wiring out and I have not been able to locate where the wiring was torn

loose.

My questions are:

1. Any ideas how I can easily track down the wires.

2. Can I fix it by tying into the wiring of the other headlight?
