Orange and Black Wires in Dash 200 1989

After my horrific dealing with my odometer repair, the company actually agreed to refund me the $130 I shelled out to have it fixed -- mind you, it broke 3 times, and I said "to hell with it."

As I pulled my cluster out a little bit, I found 2 wires that were not plugged in to circuit board or anywhere they need to be.

One was a bright orange wire that had a female spade connection cap on it, and the other was a black wire with the same setup.

I have the large tach installed, so one of them probably power the large clock... But, what's the other one for?

It's an '89 240DL.

Thanks.

Eric Staufer,

'89 240DL - 113,555 miles (and stuck there for an eternity, or until I find a used K10042 speedo for a good price)
