All was well on the 30th night of january in my crappy little town driving my modest volvo 244dl aka the volv. So. I was goin out on the highway and i was at about 55mph, the temperature was about 1/3 - 1-2 the way up, as usual. and out of nowhere i felt a loss of power, and it steadily decreased speed. about 5 seconds later, huge sparks no, wait big ass sparks, well this sounds more discriptive, crazy ass big old sparks flew out from behind my car, and they stayed lit for a long time (they were still red hot bye the time they were out of viewing distance(at least 5 seconds)). So i eventually made it in to town coasting it, and a sherrif pushed off to the side of the road. i got out and loked under the car, no oil, tranny fluid, or gas antwhere to be seen. I tryed to start it. it cranked over, but would not start. i popped the hood, and found no trolls playing with firecrackers, so it was then i realized somehing was wrong with my car. It wasnt the trolls this time. little bastards. ill get em one day. but thats besides the point. does anywone have an idea or hunch as to what it is? or should i say was seeing as how its in a dozen chunks of red hot iron cooling on the side of the road. well i appreciate any responses. my volv is all alone with no owner to ease its fears being all unwathed. well actually im more concerned about the 2500 hundred watt stereo i JUST put in. anyways ive tried to make this crappy night as painless as possible, and appreciate your guys help.
