Instrument Cluster from GL 200 1988

Long story short, I want a factory tach instaed of the piece of crap after-market I have now. I found at my local Pick-N-Pull an 82-84 244 GL w/ manual trans and it had the cluster including a tach. It looks imaculate! Tomorrow I am going back with my tools and pull out the cluster.

I planneed on taking the usaul philips and wire cutters. Is there anything special I should take along\know about? I haven't taken out the cluster on my '88 244 DL but I assume they are the same size and will fit. I can't find any instructions in the 7xx\9xx Faq or in the achieves that concern putting an older cluster in a newer 240.

The tach in a stock cluster uses a wire to the slternator correct? Will the dummy lights use the same bulb and sensor plugs or will I have to rewire them?
