Check the fuel pump check valve. the cheap/poor mans way I checked mine, is to just kick the starter to let the think think you are starting it, then wait, and do it again, let fuel pump run, then try to start.

The check valve keeps the fuel from drainin back to the tank when it sits.

It is about a $30 part that sits under the drivers seat with the fuel filter and pump.

It not that, check the condition of your battery - a low voltage will affect the car more than you know.

anyhow, if niether of these, give us more detail on the "slow start"

does it crank slow, or just take a long time to fire up?
