I basically agree with you folks about the platinum plus four stuff.

However, platinum and silver electrode plugs were developed for good

reasons and these types of plugs with 'normal' electrodes have run

very well in my turbo. As a matter of fact in the early eighties like

my 82 242 turbo they came stock with silver electrode plugs. Very expensive

and they are resistor plugs which is something I avoid. Your car will run very well on the copper core supers which volvo changed back to. I think in 1985. I run the Beru Silverstones in my turbo now and they are very good. The car runs great and when they need service I clean, regap, and they are fine. I actually haven't worn a set of them out yet. I have run them for 50k mi so far. I clean them once a year.
