Re: heater motor i d? 700 87

The original heater motor was manufactured by Delco-Remy in England. Some 700 series have been upgraded with a replacement motor. There is a plastic adaptor which fits the upgraded heater motor to the housing. The original heater motor has a single wire connection, and the motor cooling rubber hose is at the firewall side of the motor. The upgraded heater motor has a two wire connector, and the motor cooling air comes through a dust built into the plastic housing. This dust is away from the firewall. Make sure which heater motor you have, so you get the right one.
