novelty plugs like splitfires and the bosch plus4s do just what they were intended to do: MAKE MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE SELLING THEM!!!! and that is ALL they do. If you were to study ignition system theory, design, and operation, you would soon discover that the so-called "advanced design" of the novelty plugs is nothing more than snake oil and manure.......such ripoffs have been around since the '60s......the best spark plug you can get is one of the normal electrode configuration--one center electrode, one ground electrode--of the correct heat range, gapped correctly, and installed correctly to the proper torque......and you can buy them for less than $2 each, and they will last for 20,000 miles or longer.......BUT, if you like novelty items, go ahead and buy your pet rock type plugs.......and continue to be living proof of the old adage: "A fool and his money are soon parted".........
