Re: Gonna change my distributer cap 200 1983

From the voice of experience. The Chrysler ignition in my experience is not evil jus different.

For example the cap unscrews for the distributor. Please not as usual to mark your plug wires front to rear after you clean them. Mark number one spark plug wire position on the old distributor cop before removal.

The Chrysler rotor is not your average Bosch rotor and can be a bit of a pain to put on first time. You can't see exactly where the slot and groove mate up. On the round part of the rotor, mark a line on the outside of the

rotor following as exactly as you can the path of the protrusion on the inside is. This way you can put the rotor and distributor post in sync and not ruin your afternoon.
