Re: selecting an alternator 200 1987

Guri,

I'd replace the 55A with the 70 amp Bosch. It will fit the 87 just fine ... I'm pretty certain a 70A alternator came stock with your 87 200. I recently bought a completely rebuilt 70A for my son's 83 244Ti for 90 bucks. The 55A a PO had put in was really not up to the task. Having more alternator output than you need is better than too little.
