I'm not so sure you're right. The power to weight ratio is just barely in favor of the b230ft w/T+ (.0600 hp/lb compared to .0627 hp/lb). I was figuring the weight of the turbo car to be 3000lbs. (my '87 NON-turbo 240 is supposed to be 2950, so add the turbo, intercooler, etc., and it's probably over 3000lbs., and maybe more depending on how much greater the weight of a 740 is). So basically, they're even in power to weight ratio, so that only leaves the gearing. Much like the presidential race, I say it's too close to call. A regular old B230FT in stock form would probably lose.
