Hello,

I checked my own car out on one of these database services. It used to be a Georgia car, so the mileage was logged each time the car was smogged. Well, I was told of possible odometer tampering because the odometer readings were not in ascending order. Looking at it for a while revealed that at one smog check the mileage must have been written down incorrectly, that is what caused the discrepancy.
