Shatz,

I have not yet replaced the thermostat. Is this a nessesary action? I did replace the coolant. Do you know anything about the electric cooling fan? Is the fan somehow connected to the thermostat? When ever I turn off the car the fan stays on for about 10-15 minutes. I think that maybe the thermostat sends the computer a signal and that turns on the fan. But I'm not too sure.
