Re: Car stalls when reversing 700 1988

I cleaned the TB with cleaner, there was some varnish/oil around the plate and in & around the very small vacuum holes on the backside. With the TB uncleaned the TPS? electrical switch on the side of the TB would only click when the TB plate was pushed closed with a slight effort. After cleaning the TB the switch would click easier at closing and the car no longer stalls in reverse or forward gear now. My wife told me it stalled in forward gear as well under low throttle. So thanks to everyone for steering me towards cleaning the TB-seems that was the main problem!
