neil,

i too have the same problem on my wife's 85 245. i have put a post before with little response. the problem on my car came out of the blue. a few months before i could relieve the pressure by pulling just the main fuel pump fuse out and the car would die. then when changing the fuel filter no luck, i could pull both fuses and the car ran normal. i am lost as well. maybe somebody knows the trick to cure this weird problem.
