Leak free window vents 140-160

Is it possible to keep these things from leaking? First, the bloody

lock latch falls off, and then the thing leaks lots of water when it

rains or whatever. Also, even if the lever is intact water stillc comes

in if there is enough of it.

Should I buy new windows from volvo? Should I take several of them

to a glass shop and have them punch a hole in the glass and put a screw

through the glass to hold the lever in place? I see this on some vent

windows on cars in salvage yards and it seems pretty solid.

I want vent windows, though at the moment I've glued shut on my daily

driver to keep the water out.
