/// This sounds (no pun intended) like a job for the polybutyl/vinyl tube earphone to locate the source. I cannot imagine what would sound like an AM radio with the sound off. Try looking in the heater plenum or the air direction tubes leading away from the heater. Cut off the outside air with the recirculate button. See what changes.
