Hi,

I had asked the same question on a different list (1800list) so that I could build a crate for shipping. A couple of the guys were kind enough to actually go out and measure. Heres what they found:

------------------------------------------------

> Length from back of the block to tip of waterpump

Including flywheel - approx 25"

> Height from deepest point of the oil pan to top of oilfiller cap

including breather tube out of top of cap - approx 27"

> Width at its widest point (where the starter mounts?)

starter to oil filter - approx 18"

Hi: I measure roughly 16 in wide 23 in long, not including a water pump or

fan and 26 in high from bottom of oil pan to level of oil filler cap. add

extra room for bracing ect.
