Check the heat shields on all the pipes. You can push on them with a 2x4 or something similar while the car is idling and remove the noisy ones at will. Volvo cats have a long life expectancy unless of course the car has kazillion miles on it. oooh lying in the driveway in freezing weather, my favorite.
