No, I'm not sure the solenoid is the problem. It could be me, it could be the OD switch in the gear shifter, it could be wiring that is shorting out/not conducting, it could be sun spots.

Seriously, I've been inquiring for about a week. One of my earlier posts to a differently named thread describes my tale.

Does your manual indicate how to access the shelf? In other words, do I need to remove any panels from the underside, etc?

Also, does your manual describe how to access the OD switch on the gear shifter, as a reminder this is an automatic trans.
