Re: Wheel Balance or what 900 1995

/// There are two possibilities. Have you had a recent panic stop? If you have one of the tires on the front has slipped on the steel (or mag) wheel. In such situations one bead slips and the other doesn't torquing the tire on the wheel. The cure is to break down at least one side reair, rebalance the tire.

The other possibility is that you have a serious separation in the tire. This is not fixable. Replace the tire immediately.

You can jack the front tire, place a bottle with a bent wire pointing to the tread, rotate the tire and watch the track of the tread relative to the pointer you have made. If there is a separation the tire will move closer to the pointer at the point of separation.

A good tire store will have a radial runout gauge to check the tire for "out of round." That is what you would do with the bottle and wire.
