Hi Sam,

My initial guess would be that the ballast resistor for the ignition

system is open. Get out an ohm meter and check the resistor. I think

it is a 1 ohm resistor. When your car starts it gets 12v direct from the

starter to the coil to give the starting a little more juice. Once the

engine fires and the starter stops the ballast resistor drops the voltage

that the coil gets. If the resistor is open then the engine can start but

not run. Hope this helps you.
