Re: Can I switch the front seat? 200 1988

Robert,

You have the reverse of most people, usually it is the drivers seat that goes bad and that is the hardest to find.

A. You can swap the front seats but the angle adjustment will be on the inside and probably won't fit, next to your seat belt plug.

Better idea is to post an add for a passengers seat. I would be surprised that you can't find one in good shape (you need to have one of the 86+ year seats). Actually, you can put any year seat in your car, but the foam is different, as is the stiching on the outside.

The other option is seat covers, but that will be more than you will have to pay for another seat. Good luck.
