I have never pulled my tank, though it doesn't look too hard. Unless you can see it caved in, though, I don't think you will accomplish anything by pulling the tank that you can't do by pulling the sending unit / fuwl pickup.

Behind your rear seats is a spring loaded panel. Lift it up,and you will see the bolts that fasten it to the floor. Remove the bolts and the panel. Under the panel, behind the left rear seat is a plate, held on by 4 bolts. remove this plate, and you will be looking at the sending unit. The sending unit is retained by a giant round plastic collar. Unscrew this collar (counter-clockwise), disconnect the wires from the sending unit and remove the sending unit. (Before you take it out, note its orientation and how it comes out of the tank. It is really challenging to get it back into place if you weren't paying attention.)

Preferably, you are doing this with a minimal amount of fuel in the tank, so you can shine a light into the tank & see what's in there/ also, you have the fuel pickup in your hand, so you can see if its clogged or damaged.
