Re: High Idle After TB Cleaning 700 1986

Yes I did clean the TB while the TPS was still attached. I made sure I didn't get the outside of the TPS wet though. Unless it has a way of getting to the inside of the switch from inside the throttle body, I wouldn't think I screwed it up. It does "click" like it's supposed to however I will doublecheck it tomorrow. I purchased another Idle Control Valve today and should have it tomorrow also. The local Volvo specialty shop seemed to think it was at fault. I've cleaned the ICV's before on my two BMW's and have never had a problem with them. They're both made by Bosch.
