Re: TIRES 700 1989

Jack,

I think Yokohoma offers some of the best values in both winter and summer tires.

I've had good luck with the Yoko Avid H4 in fair weather and the Yoko Guardex 600 or F720 snows for winter. All are about 50-55 and bucks a tire (205/60/15)at Discount Tire Direct. You might check out their prices.

I've run Dunlop D60A2s and found them to stick to dry roads better than the Avids but they ride a bit too harsh for me and make a lot more noise.

I would recommend getting snows on all four wheels for winter driving ...

the all season tires seem to be good for about three seasons and winter isn't one of them. My $.02
