Fuel Pump relay is getting hot. 200 1983

All 240 fuel pump relays get hot. They have no ventilation. So, I always take out the relay, remove the cap, and drive several holes in the top and bottom of the relay cap to allow for heat to leave the relay. This is a high failure item on 240's. Once I starting doing this, no more fuel pump failures.

hope this helps.
