'94 940 WAGON BRAKE/PARKING LIGHT

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well and stay so! On my '94 940, the driver-side rear parking lamp won't light (lowest bulb in the cluster), when I move the light switch to "parking light".

But, when I step on the brakes, both filaments in the brake light bulb are energized and glow brightly.

No power gets to the parking light bulb, when I release the brake pedal.

Does this suggest a problem with the bulb burn-out indicator. I've swapped-in a couple of known-good relays, but still can't get the parking light to come on.

I've also replaced the bulb and cleaned the contacts carefully, using Deoxit.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yours faithfully,

Spook
