R-12 system still charged... now what?

WELLlllll...... it's not charged anymore haha. I tried to connect the adapter with the schrader valve removed. In the 5 seconds it took me to screw the schrader in, the pressure dropped dramatically according to my ear.

I'll look into a retrofit and leak check. If someone has a complete list of the o-rings I will need to replace, that would (might) be a great addition to the FAQ for other people.
