thanks for the comments, as well as pointers on adding a trailer lighting circuit. I'll be aiming for a simple 4-pin connector.

The valence cut outs were definitely the most tricky, mostly because I could not easily remove it and keep test fitting. The valence on my 93 appears to use sticky stuff behind the wheel wells to keep it attached, similar to the black trim pieces on the lower door panels. I did not want to deal with reattaching.

I have added the Volvo instructions I found and used to the photo stream. Hopefully this will help others
