How to put pictures on Brickboard 444-544

There are several ways to post images to the Brickboard.

You can upload to BrickPix accessed in the “more” drop down menu at the top of the page. Then add the HTML code to your post to display your photo. Personally I’ve always had trouble displaying images that way.

There used to be a lot more free image servers that would allow you to upload and store your images. Then you simple went to the account you set up and get the code for the image you wanted to display. Many of those started charging for the service. One that doesn’t charge is imgur.com That is the one I use.

Go to imgur.com and set up a free account. You can then upload your images to your gallery. When you want to include an image with a post you click on the thumbnail of that image in your gallery. That will produce a variety of HTML options associated with that image.

Click on the “copy” button below the Direct Link heading. I am working with a PC/Windows so it may be a bit different for other machines.

Many thanks to Art Benstein for this visual explaining the insertion of the image code to include in a post so it displays the image.
