SU HS6 (Pair) 140-160 None

I'm using a mechanical in the customary spot on the block , I presume driven by the cam??? The car came to me with inj ports blocked and two Stromberg CD's on the traditional one piece intake/exhaust manifold...
When I rebuilt I bought Mikunis from John Parker, and a polishable B18 Two stack intake, and a B20E Exhaust off of Ebay, and made all the funny washers to fit the height difference. It ran OK on two HSR45's, but constantly weeped from the float bowls, despite a 250.00 Fuelab pressure regulator set at 1.5 PSI. I'm going to sell the car soon, I thought I'd "dumb down" with some HS6's for my friend...the prospective buyer... I'll find a way to properly pipe the press reg back in, and see if that helps. I keep thinking I have a "Superman" Fuel pump that puts out 10 psi, but I've never rigged up a port to measure it...most guys say it should be good for 6-8 easy, but the carbs really should be able to handle that...what if they were on a 3 stack in a Jag???
