New 60A fuse setup for 93 240 ignition circuit 200 1993

The previous owner had replaced a burnt out 60A PAL fuse socket with an inline Bussman fuse setup. I've been suspect of this repair for a while because it shows signs of over heating, and it's warm to the touch. Last weekend, I measured almost a 1.2V drop across the repair. Time for a new solution

I swapped out the Bussman fuse for a new one that I can reset if ever needed, and upgraded the wiring and connections. Previously I was getting about 12.5V at the cigarette lighter. Now I'm getting 13.5V, and everything is brighter and faster (those wipers might actually keep up with the rain now!)

I ended up buying wire, tinned lugs and heat shrink so I could build my own cables. It was relatively easy.

Here are some pictures of the process.
