1972 Volvo 145 door mirrors 140-160 1972

I'll relate my experience when looking to replace the sideview mirrors on my 1969 144S. At the time I worked for an indy Volvo repair shop that used Volvo original parts mostly. The dealer listed the mirrors and ordered them. The mirrors looked just like the originals but were made of plastic rather than metal. Once mounted I found they did not offer the range of adjustment of the originals - making them almost useless. Although they were a special order item the dealer took them back. The originals are still on the car. - Dave
