Fuel Pump replacement for 145 140-160

I am working on the 1973 145 that belonged to the Walrus.
I have an alternator issue and a dead fuel pump and possibly a vacuum leak. I managed to locate a dead fuel pump and a leaky fuel pump in the Walrus Volvo Parts vault. So I struck out there. I reached out to IPD and spoke with a rep that they don't have one specifically available for this model, but they have lots of people that do an upgrade to a 240 model and install a pump regulator on line after the pump. Does anyone have some wisdom they can impart?

Thanks!
