Alloys and tires for1991 240 Wagon 200 1991

A SAAB Story.
in the way back I was looking to buy a car that wouldn't break-my-heart, by rusting out (no matter how I cared for the mechanical--- which I ended up dubbing - Too Much Potential Energy for the metal that was built to contain it: BMW 2002s)

I went to a SAAB dealer. I think SAAB 99s were what they were selling. I'd been to VW dealers, BMW dealers, (at the time Volvos did not appeal - 140s)

When I told my sad story about my past cars 'rusting out" from under me, the salesman took out a fan display of Body Sheet Steel samples.

He fanned it out and pointed to the Thickest disc: "this is what clads the SAAB 99. Safe as well a long lasting"

I was impressed but did not buy.
