Installed fuel pressure regulator 900 1993

Finished replacing the FPR (original Volvo #6842410) with the
Bosch equivalent 0280160294. Its a regina system. I purchased the
FPR from a mail order salvage yard via ebay. The Bosch is physically
twice the size of the old volvo FPR and wasn't sure if it was going to
fit when I received it. Everything lined up perfectly. I put a little
silicon grease on the o-ring just to make sure it seals well and to ease
with install. Nevertheless, it did leak at first and had to unbolt and
force the o-ring a bit more. That stopped the leak. Did a great job
with improving the idle along with eliminating the stumbling on acceleration
which happens on occasion. I have been getting about 21-23 mpg so it would be
nice to match my old 240's which was a consistent 25 mpg. I thank those
from the brickboard who provided me with so much information regarding
Volvo's FPR and the matching Bosch unit. Could not have done it without
you guys.
