1963 Volvo 122 - Dash Light Switch 120-130 1963

I'm hoping someone can assist with advice on how to put an older light switch back together. I was pulling off connectors on the back to clean and I must have given it a good pull as the whole back of the light switch came apart. Now when I try to reassemble I'm not getting my lights back. Theres the rod with a square and metal contacts, when I drop in do they need to re align a certain way to make contact with those tall prongs? There are 4 prongs, one is longer than others.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!
